Nippers age groups run
from the U6's to the U14's.
The age group is determined by how old you are at
the first of October.
So if your still 5 at the 1st of Oct then your in
the Under 6 age group.

CAN I JOIN A PATROL?
Cadets and Seniors can
join a patrol.
The minimum requirement is the Surf Rescue
Certificate or Bronze Medallion.
The club runs both courses through out the season.

WHY DOES A PARENT HAVE TO JOIN?
The Principle reason
is to ensure you are covered by insurance while
attending Nippers and utilising club facilities
with your child.
WHAT DOES IT COST TO JOIN?
Registration Fees are
listed in the FEES & CHARGES section on the Information page.
All water activities require a high visability
vest to be worn.
All Nippers must also purchase an age cap to allow
easy identification of childrens age and level.
If you intend to compete at carnivals you will
need to purchase a club costume.
All soft gear items can be purchase from the club
store located on the ground floor facing the

Nippers registration close on the 1st of December for the current season.How_To_Join steps.
Just remember registration must be completed and
paid prior to attending any nippers or patrol.
And sorry - there are no discounts for part season
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IT RAINS?
Nippers and Patrols
are run in most weather conditions (Exceptions
include lightning storms).
If the surf conditions are deemed dangerous water
activities will be cancelled, but beach and other
training activities will be substituted.

If you or a family
member where previously a member of a different
surf club and want to change to Shellharbour,
then you need to follow the instructions found on
